WALTON AND HERSHAM V BILLERICAY TOWN MATCH REPORT

RETURN TO MATCH REPORT HOME PAGE

MATCH REPORT - WALTON AND HERSHAM 0 BILLERICAY TOWN 0 RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION SATURDAY 21ST JANUARY @ WALTON 3.PM ATTENDANCE: 2,998.
MANAGERS: WALTON AND HERSHAM - , BILLERICAY TOWN - MATT JONES.

Billericay failed to penetrate a stubborn Walton and Hersham defence and had to settle for a point. Billericay felt they should have had a penalty when Poole was brought down by the Walton keeper. The officials failed to get any hold on the game and bizarrely showed no cards, particularly not showing a card for a lunge on Warren Ryan. The best chances fell to Nathan Elder, but he scuffed an open goal and sent a header just over the bar. The point was the least Billericay deserved.
