MATCH REPORT - EAST THURROCK UTD 0 BILLERICAY TOWN 3 (ELDER 2, HUNTER(PEN)) RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION SATURDAY 24TTH SEPTEMBER @ ROOKERY HILL 3PM ATTENDANCE: 258.
Billericay ended their barren run with a convincing win over their local rivals East Thurrock Utd. East Thurrock have started the season well, but that did not stop Billericay from dominating the game. The game started very slowly, which given Billericay's recent form was not surprising. Billericay kicked into life after 22 minutes when Nathan Elder opened the scoring to score his 2nd goal of the season. East Thurrock offered very little in the rest of the first half. The introduction of Neil Cousins saw Billericay go 2-0 up. Cousins was pushed in the area and Leon Hunter slotted home the resulting penalty. Nathan Elder got his 2nd goal of the game in injury time when Mark Hardingham messed up his clearance and Elder had an easy finish. Billericay now face another away trip on Monday 26th September when they travel to Folkestone Invicta.

TEAM: BRIGHTLEY, GAME, KERRIGAN, DOBSON, MCSWEENEY, DORMER(BOURNE), THOMAS, HUNTER, ELDER, HOCKTON(COUSINS), WAREHAM.
